The following paragraphs detail the Terms and Conditions that apply when doing business with us online. We have tried to keep them as simple as possible. We trust where misunderstandings arise, we will be able to resolve them through discussion and/or correspondence. However, you must be prepared to accept these Terms and Conditions for Sunrise Tools & Equipment Ltd to accept your order instructions.
By the nature of our marketplace and the products we supply, we class our online transactions as Business to Business, for which the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (formerly the Distance Selling Regulations) are not applicable. It is important you read our Returns & Refund Policy - Paragraph 3 below. As a company, registered in England & Wales, contracts for the purchase of goods through this website will be governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales.

1. General Use of the Website
You are welcome to browse the Website, print extracts, download resources and distribute such information to other persons, albeit for non-commercial purposes only. The content of the site, including all text, images, downloadable resources and logos are copyright Sunrise Tools & Equipment © 2016. No part of this site or any of its content must be incorporated in any other work without our permission.
2. Online Purchasing
All business is transacted in Pounds Sterling (£).
For customers in the United Kingdom, direct online purchasing should be available for the majority of products; if the weight of your order exceeds 50 kg, you may be asked to submit a Website Enquiry so we can advise on the best delivery option.
For non-UK customers, it is necessary for us to review your order to determine the best delivery service, therefore your shopping cart will be processed as a WEBSITE ENQUIRY. We will review this promptly, assess the delivery options and send a firm quotation by email or Proforma Invoice. No items will be despatched until full payment has been received.
3. Returns & Refunds
We do NOT offer Returns and/or Refunds as an automatic right but are prepared without prejudice to consider individual instances on request.
As previously stated, we operate as a Business to Business supplier and in doing so, are offering products applicable to professionals within businesses and trades, where we expect there to be a reasonable understanding of both the product and/or the relevant working environment. We welcome enquiries from non-professionals and encourage all purchasers to contact us if they are unsure of the applicability of a product to their requirement – we are always pleased to advise and assist.
4. Product Information
The application and use of the products is the sole responsibility of the customer. We encourage you to call or email us if you are unsure of the suitability of any product for your intended use. All advice and information we provide, whether through the website, in writing or verbally, is given in good faith but without liability on our part. We strive to provide accurate information at all times and to correct any errors as soon as they come to our attention.
5. Pricing & Availability
By default, all pricing EXCLUDES VAT (Value Added Tax). Where applicable, VAT will be calculated at the Checkout.
Prices may change over time, but except in the instance of a genuine pricing error (where either party may request cancellation of the order) we will honour prices shown on the confirmation email you receive following placement of your order.
We endeavour to have up-to-date product availability information on the website at all times. In the event that goods become unavailable following your placement of an order, we will liaise with you to agree the best course of action. If we can not propose a mutually-agreeable solution, the full value of your order will be refunded through the payment service used for the purchase.
6. Delivery and Click & Collect
We use a variety of delivery services, dependant upon the size of the shipment and the delivery destination. Delivery times and tracking features will vary from service to service. Where optional delivery services are available, you make the selection during the Checkout Process. Detail on the delivery services we offer and associated conditions can be found on our Delivery Services page. Whilst we have indicated the typical delivery time for these services, we can not be held responsible for any delays in the delivery process but are always available to assist in resolving any delivery difficulties.
Proof of delivery methods employed by delivery companies can vary. It is now less common for a signature to be requested. The receiver name is most frequently recorded on a handheld device, coupled with photographic evidence and GPS location data.
If you instruct your goods be left in a safe place, you become liable for the goods as though you had received them in person.
Postal delivery services are governed by the Terms & Condition published by Royal Mail.
Subject to your email functioning properly, you will receive order progress updates from Sunrise Tools. Depending upon the delivery service chosen, you may also receive email and/or text updates from the delivery company. Please be alert to these messages and report any delivery issues (including non-delivery) within 5 working days. Beyond this time period, we reserve the right to refuse any claim for loss, as it is likely the reporting limit set by the delivery service provider will have been exceeded.
For international deliveries, most notably outside of Europe, import duties and local taxes may be payable. It is the responsibility of the customer to administer and settle such local charges.
For orders over 50 kg, delivery costs may show as 'To be confirmed'. In these instances, please submit your order as a Website Enquiry; we will respond with delivery costs based on your chosen delivery address. In the event that an order is paid for without a calculated delivery cost, we will contact you with a price to be paid. If this cost is not to your liking, we will refund the order amount. No items will be despatched until all costs have been settled.
Click & Collect
We offer Click & Collect so local customers or those passing through the area benefit from faster access to goods with no delivery costs. Place your order online, choose Click & Collect at the Delivery stage and proceed to pay as normal. If you can add an item to your shopping cart, it should be in stock, but you are welcome to contact us to confirm. As many of our products require assembly, it is important you wait for the email advising your order is ready for collection.
· Orders placed before 12 noon may be offered for collection the same day.
· For orders placed after 12 noon, earliest collection will be the following day.
· Our opening hours for Collections are 08:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
· We reserve the right to apply a 10% handling charge on a cancelled Click & Collect order to recompense us for time taken to assemble products and for card refund costs.
7. Damaged Goods
If you are presented with a delivery where the packaging is damaged, you must satisfy yourself the contents are in acceptable condition before signing acceptance of the delivery. Information and advice regarding non-delivery and shortages can be found on our Delivery Services page.
8. Warranty
Unless identified on a webpage as having Limited Warranty, all products are supplied with a 12 month return-to-factory warranty; the factory will be the then current Sunrise Tools trading address and unless otherwise agreed at the time, the customer will be responsible for the return of the goods and the associated costs.
We reserve the right to refuse warranty on items which have been improperly used, modified or abused, or where component failure is due to normal wear and tear.
We reserve the right to repair or replace defective goods at our discretion.
Where a defective product is of third party supply or manufacture (e.g. a power tool supplied as part of a system) you/we may be obliged to return the product to the supplier or manufacturer for assesment of a warranty claim. It will not be our responsibility to provide a replacement product during any waiting period.
When it is deemed preferable to return the product direct to the manufacturer (some will collect) or their local service agent, we will provide assistance as required.
9. Payment Security
All transactions completed on the Website are processed through a Secure Payment Platform (currently PayPal Merchant Services).
Sunrise Tools & Equipment will not have access to your payment card details.
For orders placed as enquiries, we will normally request payment via BACS. However, at the customer’s request, we can provide a bespoke payment link to settle an invoice through the Secure Payment Platform.
10. Privacy Policy & Cookies
By using our site, you consent to our use of personal information and cookies as indicated below.
With the exception of those directly involved in the fulfilment of your order, or to comply with statutory or legal obligations, we will not disclose any of your details to third parties. However, we will retain relevant details lest we need to contact you with regards to your purchase at some stage in the future.
Our website uses persistent and session cookies (including Google Analytics cookies) to observe how users interact with our site, to provide a personalised experience and improve usability. We may collect and store the following:
